KUThis Privacy Policy explains how Xykada LLC (“Xykada,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Waddledoku iPhone app (the “App”) and waddledoku.com (the “Website”).
Information we handle
Information stored on your device
The App stores game progress, settings, puzzle state, streak data, hint and reveal balances, and purchase-fulfillment records locally on your device. The App does not require a Waddledoku account.
Purchases
If you purchase consumable hints or reveals, Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat helps the App load products and verify and fulfill transactions. RevenueCat may process an app-scoped customer identifier, transaction and product information, device or app information, and related diagnostics. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Rewarded ads and tracking choices
The App uses Google Mobile Ads to offer optional rewarded ads. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other advertising data. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents consent choices. On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency permission when you first choose to watch a rewarded ad. Google may serve personalized ads only when permitted by both your applicable regional consent choices and your iOS tracking choice. If those permissions are unavailable or declined, Google may instead serve non-personalized, limited, or contextual ads. Advertising consent choices can be revisited in App settings when that option is required in your region. You can change the App’s tracking permission in iOS Settings.
Game Center
If you use Apple Game Center, Apple handles authentication, leaderboard scores, and achievements under your Game Center account. Waddledoku submits total score and achievement progress when you are authenticated.
Notifications
If you opt in, Waddledoku schedules gameplay reminders as local notifications on your device. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. The current App does not use a Waddledoku server to send push notifications.
Website analytics
When expressly enabled in production, the Website uses PostHog for lightweight analytics, including pageviews and clicks on App Store, Android, solutions, how-to-play, and support links. PostHog may receive a randomly generated identifier, IP-derived location, device and browser information, referrer, visited page, and the named interaction. We do not identify visitors, enable session replay, record form inputs, or use PostHog for advertising. Website analytics does not load when PostHog is disabled or unconfigured.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide and save gameplay;
- fulfill purchases and optional ad rewards;
- support Game Center features and local reminders;
- understand basic Website usage and improve launch information;
- diagnose problems, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations.
Third-party services
Waddledoku relies on Apple services (including the App Store, StoreKit, Game Center, and iOS permissions), RevenueCat, Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform, and—only when enabled on the Website—PostHog. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information. Advertising providers may process data for personalized advertising only when permitted by your consent and platform choices.
Data retention
Local gameplay information remains on your device until you clear it, delete the App, or the App removes it as part of normal operation. Third-party providers retain information according to their policies and legal requirements. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. Website analytics retention is controlled in PostHog’s project settings.
Children’s privacy
Waddledoku is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe information has been collected from a child under 13, contact us so we can review the circumstances and request deletion where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can decline or change iOS tracking and notification permissions, manage Game Center through Apple, revisit advertising privacy choices where available in the App, and delete local gameplay data by deleting the App. You may contact us about a privacy request. We may need enough information to understand and verify the request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Waddledoku or its services change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date.
