How to play Waddledoku

Place one penguin in each row, column, and colored region. Penguins can’t touch, even diagonally.

  1. 01

    One per color

    Each colored region gets exactly one penguin.

  2. 02

    One per row and column

    Every row and every column gets exactly one.

  3. 03

    Penguins can’t touch

    Keep them apart, including on the diagonal.

Controls

Tap, swipe, or double-tap.

  • Tap once to mark a cell with an X.
  • Swipe across several cells to mark them together.
  • Double-tap a cell to place a penguin.

When you’re stuck

Look for what can’t go.

  • Start with a row, column, or region that has only one open cell.
  • After placing a penguin, mark its row, column, and neighboring cells.
  • If you’re unsure, use X marks before you guess.
